I recently missed my connection because my first flight (both delta) was delayed, hauled ass/ran through ATL to make it and got to the gates 15 mins before take off (15 exactly) and boarding was closed with no gate agents around
I, along with a handful of others that happened to have the same two flights, got stuck overnight. They did provide us with hotels and vouchers and got us rebooked for the next morning, but is there any financial compensation i can request because of this incredible inconvenience?
There was also no delay notice on the first flight so there wasn’t an opportunity to plan a new flight, we just simply took off 50 mins late
