Afternoon everyone!

I'll be going to my first ever nightclub this coming Friday, and I'll be alone. Is there anything that I can do or put forward that will make me seem approachable without coming off the wrong way? The goal is for me to meet new people, be it as friends or possibly more, but I'm not very familiar with the setting, and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. I've gotten a couple ideas from a friend, but I wanted to ask a broader audience. Is there anything you wish men did more in this setting? Is there anything I can wear or do that would help?

I feel I should also mention that it's a goth nightclub (I consider myself goth, but I've never been to a social event like this), and I also don't drink due to medical reasons.
