I'm clueless and looking for advice on how to act when dating

I (19m) met this girl (19f) on Bumble, and we chatted for a bit and then I asked her out on a date where we checked out a farmer's market. We ended up just sitting by a nearby lake and chatting for awhile. The whole thing lasted about 5 hours and we had a good conversation. I was completely unsure what I was supposed to do and if she expected something from me, so eventually we kind of just awkwardly said goodbye and walked our separate ways (we both live in nearby apartments). Looking back I feel like I should've been more assertive but I literally don't know what to do. Do I try to kiss her? Do I ask her over to my place? We both are looking for a long-term relationship so I didn't want to come off sleezy. She seemed kind of anxious, as was I, and didn't necessarily act flirty. She was definitely emotionally engaged in the conversation though. I texted her after and said that I had fun and she reciprocated those feelings. She agreed on a second date but we don't have specific plans yet because we're both busy with midterm exams this week. She start texting me about some of the inside jokes we made during the date though and asking how my days have been going. I'm just looking for advice on how to read girls and logistically what am I supposed to do to keep pushing things forward. Should I literally just tell her that I have no clue what I'm doing and ask for clear communication? Should I be texting her daily up until the next date? What do I do on the next date?

Tldr: I'm ignorant on how to date and I need advice
