I’m a pretty die-hard gym rat. I rarely miss a day. Sometimes even a couple times a day if I have time. 99% of the time I’m in my own world not acknowledging anyone, but I pay attention to everyone. I often catch women looking in my direction/at me. Some super obvious, some more subtle.
What’s the general consensus of being approached as a woman at the gym? I’ve always assumed the gym should be kind of a haven away from any of that. Objectification is already a huge problem for women at the gym and I’ve never wanted to make their time less comfortable by approaching.
What should I look for before approaching? Should I approach at all?
