Historical data problem

I can’t for the life of me find any data for housing sales in the US before 1963. This is going to be a big factor in my analysis I am creating for a project but I have searched for hours and have came up empty. Can anyone help? The rest of my data starts in 1958 so I just need a couple of years. I literally have 5 more variables I am using but this is one of the most important.
