Yo, i play PvE only and after a few hundred hours trying a lot of things, i kinda ran out of ideas.

Different runs i've done so far:

• Uchigatanas, be it 15, lightning or chaos, i always loved this weapon

• Great Scythe: good weapon but i hate the moveset

• Quelaag's fury: amazing weapon, i love the moveset which is basic Curved sword moveset i believe, it makes me want to try a curved sword run but the only interesting one to me seems the painting one from anor londo which is a bit late

• SL1 (pyromancy): it felt no different than a normal run except dumping ALL your souls into pure damage instead of leveling some defense. Also pyromancy is so slow to cast with such a short range, maybe it's different with Dex but if i level dex i will be tempted to go melee with a katana or something

• Demon's Greataxe: great weapon but really slow and way too heavy

• Sorcery RTSR: this one was interesting, i didn't finish it because RTSR Ornstein and Smough was a nightmare, maybe should give it an other try without the RTSR this time

• Bow only: a weird one, the sound of headshots feels so damn satisfying but holy fuck this was a slow run. I usually run and kill things while running but with anything that is not a melee weapon, you actually have to stop and kill them one by one and you can even miss.

• All Bosses Speedrun: I tried one time the sorcery only version, made a LOT of savestate and stopped after i finally beat Ornstein and Smough. This was way too hard, so many precise jump skips and RTSR setups (some that i still use in my normal runs now).

I haven't done any runs using Hallberds, Spears, Greatsword, Ultraswords, Fists and anything you don't see listed here. I don't find these weapons really appealing to me (to the point i have never used one myself, only saw others using it)

With that in mind, what do you think i should give a try to ?
