Train travel (Amtrak US) with 6 month old

Anyone here with experience traveling via Amtrak in the US with a 6 month old or similar age? We have to move cross-country and are hesitant to fly as the little one won’t be vaccinated fully.
It seems like there might not be enough space in an Amtrak bedroom to fit a travel crib? Even if there is, how smooth is the ride? I’m worried about the little one getting thrown about as the train jerks in the middle of the night.
The wife and I have never taken Amtrak so we have no idea what to expect.
