I've seen a few minions proposed that use the "When you draw this..." mechanic introduced by Flame Leviathon, and reinforced by Sea Reaver:
The new Black Widow
I thought I'd open up a discussion. Every instance that Blizzard has introduced is a symmetrical effect. I believe the Team 5 design team has done this on purpose, with the assumption that a deck that includes the card with the symmetrical effect on average will benefit from it more than the opponent (and there is subsequently a cost for that).
The question I have is how exactly would we balance both a symmetrical effect, as well as non-symmetrical effects?
