How do you get around?

I got accepted as a transfer student (not sure if Iām going to commit since Iām still waiting for the rest of my acceptances) and I just wanted to ask how you get around if you live in Fullerton or outside the city to school and class. Where I live I usually get around in public transportation and just wanted to know if getting a car would be beneficial inside the city and/or if outside the city I could manage on public transportation. Hopefully this post made sense.
