Hello everyone,

I feel like I need to rant and let this all out. But two weeks ago when Csuf had their disbursement on January 11th I notice I did not receive an email so I called on Friday the 13th and even went in person on Tuesday the 17th when I spoke to the workers both of those days they said that my money for my loans and Pell grant has been authorized and that I would receive it on Wednesday the 18th and Monday the 23rd so I waited but still Nothing. I also called the disbursement office last Friday the 20th and the lady said the same thing Monday and Wednesday. Today second day of the semester and after two weeks I decided to give the disbursement office a call again and the guy told me that the financial aid has never authorized my money. Since they don’t answer their phone I decided to go on person today and told the lady what’s been going on. She then checked and first made some weird face. Then she got up and looked behind and told me so our technician who’s in charge of your case is at lunch but I can take your email and student if number so I can get back to you with an update. Well I waited all day and never got the email. It’s been so fustrating because I really need that money to pay my books, parking permit, pay rent, bills, and many more thigns as a college student. I’m currently not employed at the moment so this is my only income for now. this schools financial aid office and workers is screwing up so many students. It’s ridiculous how they lie and make all these excuses just to get you away from them. I feel left in the dust no answers and not knowing what to do since no one there wants to help me. There’s no hold on my account so idk what’s going on. I’ve come a long way with my college journey and this is now taking a toll on my mental health with books, parking permit, bills, and rent being due soon again with February coming up. I wrote a complaint to the department of education who takes care off fafsa so I hope something gets done. I wanna know if anyone else is going through the same trouble. This financial aid office is the worse and even my community college was better then this. Thank you Csuf and their financial aid office for messing up so many students financial aid help. :(
