Asking for a raise at the current company by citing an offer from another company
Post Body

Is it ok to ask for a raise at the current company if you get a lucrative offer from another company?

I'm getting almost a 30% hike at the new company. However, I love my current company and would love to stay, if they match the offer. Otherwise, I would leave this company.

Is it worth being completely transparent and ask for a raise at the current company? Or should I just leave and join the new company?
