After getting a technical degree in college I found no job, so I spent 3 years on my own videogames.
I published 2 on my own, one on PC and one on Android. It was grueling work that required a LOT of polyvalence and discipline.
I used C# in Unity, designed everything, coded special physics and even pretty good A.I. Then I handled everything relative to publishing.
The games themselves failed, partly because I'm terrible at marketing and social connections, but I developed a lot of good coding practices, not to mention the ability to carry a project from start to end...
Now I'm aware of how all that might not be well conveyed in a Resume unless I word it well, but ignoring that and looking strictly at my experience... between us, should it be considered worth anything if I started a job as a C# dev?
