I store my yarn exposed. Some are on my bookshelf without covers, some are in shoe boxes on the side, and some are just on my table. But the problem is, there's a lot of dust around and I don't want my yarns to get dusty. I want to store them in a ziplock bag, airtight, and put them on the shelf but I read that yarns need to breathe so it is not advisable to store them in plastic.
This is what my workspace/yarn storage looks like now (note: this is my own tiktok account)
Any recommendations on how to store them dustproof on the shelf? I don't want to buy new bins.
