I want to study while I'm driving home and back up to school. Woah there - I'm not talking about slinging my textbook over my steering wheel. I want to stay safe.
I'm an out-of-state student going to college about 4 1/2 hours away from home. I've got some big exams coming up, but I have to go home this weekend, which means I'll lose 9 hours of precious study time... or will I?
The first hour and last hour of my drive are both pretty traffic-filled and hectic, but the middle 2 1/2 hours feel like they take all day long. I'm usually the only person on the road for miles. I'd be comfortable doing some low-impact studying during those times. I promise, I'll stop as soon as I'm in any sort of traffic.
I didn't know if anyone had any non-visual ways you study. Audio flashcards? Khan Academy? (Are those effective without actually watching them, too?) Books on tape are easy enough to find for language and literature classes, but I'm in biology. Save for recording myself reading my notes (why is listening to your own voice so awful?) any good resources for me there?
Thanks.
