Went in for first oil change today at the same Honda dealer I bought by CPO 2017 Civic at 6 months and 5,000 miles ago. Maintenence Minder was just "A-17" which appeared to be oil change.
Now they are telling me brake fluid, transmission fluid, and filters are urgent and are quoting $850.
I'm sticking with just oil change. The car only has 24,000 miles on it. If these things weren't urgent 5,000 miles ago when they sold it to me, either their team did a bad job inspecting/servicing it, or they are trying really hard to upsell me now, right?
Am I crazy? Is $850 worth of routine maintenance needed at 24k miles just 6 months after all that stuff should have been done by them already?
