I have this small problem where the skin only pulls back to just under the head when I’m hard, being restricted by the frenulum. When I’m soft, if pulled back fully it pulls the head down. My foreskin retracts normally.

I’ve done a bit of research and I think it’s frenulum breve.

I don’t have issues now but I’ve heard that it can make sex uncomfortable (I’m a virgin so idk) so I might need to treat it in the future but there’s not a lot of good quality information online. Is it treated similarly to phimosis, where a steroid cream and stretching is tried first? Are frenulum-ties done in the uk or is it frenuplasty? Is it easy to get on the NHS?
