I think this is might be a continuation of a problem which started a day ago. First youtube videos stopped working (youtube error, please try again). This was temporarily fixed by turning off hardware acceleration but the issue came up again and went away.

Now the immediate problem is that chrome freezes up when playing videos. The videos run fine and sound fine but I can't interact with chrome in any way. Chrome won't recognize clicks or hovers. It shows no errors but it completely un-interactable, making it so I have to close from task manager.

It works fine when not playing games, and I can cast the videos fine too. I can also play videos that I open from my computer (dragging video files to chrome) too. I have tried turning hardware acceleration on and off but it hasn't worked.

I have also tried re-installing my video driver but the problem continues. Any suggestions?
