Being child free isn’t selfish but self care.

Keep seeing a lot of posts about people who are child free are selfish. I have to say I don’t agree. I think it’s an act of self care. I can speak for me, but I know having a child will stressful and detrimental to my mental health.

Also I do not want to spread my mental health issues to my hypothetical child. Also I don’t want to be in more debt in taking care of a child.

I guess my main point is that I feel like having no children especially if it’s not right for you is an act of self care not selfishness.
