I donāt know exactly what the general regional backgrounds of redditors in this page is, but the ethnocentrism in me drives me to feel like a a majority (or at least significant portion) of redditors, here, are from America, and Iām a 24M from the American south. Who knows whatās going to happen in times to come in America with the way the economy is going, but the reason I feel American presence is because of how prevalent the āhaving kids is the central purpose of lifeā mentality is over here in a less culturally and socially developed nation. A lot of people my age are depressed because they express a desire for families yet they way the economy is going, they canāt balance that with pursuing a career that they desire because of the need for money. Am I allowed to feel proud/comfortable? I donāt know what Iām looking for here, but with a great influx of general anxiety about where the economy is going in my chest, Iām trying to take some comfort in, āI donāt want kids nor will I have them, and it doesnāt even bother me to think that Iāll die unmarried, so regardless of how bad it gets, Iāll have that advantage in my ability to live a life that I want to live. What do you guys think? Can I get some support from fellow CFers here, especially in America?
āØSupportāØ lol. I feel this post so hard. I'm 33f in NY and what's happened in our country on cultural, economic and all sorts of other fronts was what turned me CF
