If you are on any news website, you read about parents not 'being ok.' What makes parents 'special?' Many are now working full time with kids at home, and having to help them learn. Guess what, that's part of the job. Growing up, I would be out of school for weeks at a time due to snow days, and we made due. That was the life of living in the north. I didn't get to go to friends houses, I had the yard and that was about it. We entertained ourselves.
I get parenting isn't easy, but come on man/woman up and do your freaking jobs. You no longer have a commute, you now get to work alternative schedules with greater flexibility and yet you are freaking whining! Really???
As a sole supporter of my family (two cats and myself) I am under strain too. No job = no money. So, I have to work harder, smarter and press myself to seek out ways to convince my client to keep me on.
Parents, ya'all ain't special and as the Eagles song goes 'Get over it.'
