Do not play hopscotch in front of the cyclist

Post Body

I try to limit my ranting on this sub, but today I had a kid send me over the edge. Most people where I cycle keep their children in check. I passed probably 15 small kids on their little bikes, which I found freaking ADORABLE!

Anyway, I was nearing the end of my ride and some kid started playing hop scotch in front of me, and became more erratic as I got closer. (Jumping in and out of my bike lane.) The child was well past the age where she can feign innocence about acting like this.

What really irritated me was her grandmother did not correct her misbehavior. The other kids knew how to act on the trails because they have good parents. This kid is obviously a holy tyrant already.

I didn't crash thankfully, but was incredibly scared that this little brat was going to ruin my ride.

TL;DR: Don't let you kids try to maim cyclists because you are an incompetent parent.
