Post Body

Fairly new to D&D but loving it so far. Been borrowing a friends books but started wanting to collect them myself, except dang... it’s like over hundred bucks to get into these books, and you kinda need all three. Also the fact that the subclasses and “cool” extra races are spread out across other books that cost 40-60 bucks each feels like a ripoff

I feel like the 3 main books could/ should be condensed and made into one book instead of 3 hella expensive books.. I’m not as concerned about the cost of the expansion books, since after all, they are expansions.. but its seems like the books as they are, are really expensive. Most top of line Board games don’t come near that ballpark.. and when you buy them you get everything you need to play the game - D&D doesn’t even need a “board” or pieces or anything and yet costs so much more...
