Earlier today I was invited over to a house from somebody that I met on here. They led me on and acted like they were super interested. I agreed to meet up and they gave me "their" address. When I showed up, they asked me what car I was in (I presume to see if I was actually outside) then said that I would need to send them money to verify that they can trust me (Lol). I told them that's stupid and I'm not giving them jack shit. At this point I was upset I made it all the way over to their address only for them to end up being a prostitute/scam artist. So I rang the doorbell of the address given to me and a confused family opened the door. I told them I didn't want any trouble and explained to them the situation. They said it must have been one of their neighbors because nobody in their house was texting me. At this point I was pretty shook so I just asked for a glass of water (they brought me a bottle) and then began the long trek home.
tl;dr don't waste your time on this dating websites crap. Better to just learn cold approach and meet people in person/face to face (I know this is much easier said than done, I suffered for years from social anxiety so I understand how painful that is).
I'll answer any questions.
