Winter is approaching and it’s been getting cold. So I turned on the heat and my long haired cat got hot (I guess?) Bc she started panting so I immediately turned the heat off and turned the ac down low so she could cool off. When I adopted her I had no idea she was even gonna have such long fur, she was practically bald and it was spring. So I have no idea how to deal with her in the winter. Should I get her fur trimmed? Will I be able to turn the heat on or will I just have to freeze? Please be kind lol, I honestly didn’t think the heat would have that effect on her I meant no harm
