Watching my friend’s mom’s cat while she’s gone for summer. Ive never had a cat or even watched a cat (always had dogs). Took this one 30 days to warm up to me. But now it loves me and sleeps between my legs each night. It is very sweet. However, ive had to leave town twice recently and the first time it urinated all over the spot on the couch where i sit. The second time it pooped in that exact same spot. The neighbor watches it while im gone so it’s not being neglected. Is there something i can do to prevent this from happening again? Should i move the litter box?
