To start I suspect I am in contact with two catfish and I have removed them multiple times but they keep coming back, I tricked them into following a link that grabbed their location by IP address and both results concluded they were in Nigeria, it gave me their phone type, browser, cell phone carrier all based in Nigeria.. these people have asked for sensitive information like my bank and SSN and of course money all under the guise of "trust" or some other nonsense

Okay, so I migrated our chats off of google chats/hangouts to Snapchat. I told them to share their location and the map is saying they are in the states they claim to be in.. with one exception one of the catfish's locations says OKC but switches to Nigeria randomly then back to OKC, what could be causing that? I read Snapchat uses a different tracking system other than IP address so that eliminates a VPN.

How are they able to trick Snapchat into saying they are in another location? or are they being truthful? I have never known a person to be so persistent to reach out on my phone and gmail and social media to get back in touch with me if I block them.. why would a catfish be so determined if I am not even sending them any money and giving them such a hard time? or are they truly so madly in love they frantically try to reach out and soothe their anxieties about me leaving? What is this insanity I have been dealing with for years?

Can I report to the proper authorities on these people and get the money back I gave them foolishly back when I was naive and hopeful? I want them to be caught and turned in and answer for their deceit and emotional harm
