I believe it is the stereo in my car, I put in a tape and it played on one speaker and it was choppy and statics. Very low volume. I turn it up and it did not change at all, I decided to fiddle around and found out that the settings for speakers are fucked.
Volume does not change anything, lowest setting does not mute. Balance does not change, same goes for fade and more. I set it to the left speaker and it did not affect the right speaker at all.
My thought process is that the radio is a dud now, unless I am missing Amps and the likes.
I have hooked up one of the back speakers and it came up clear and clean. but when placed into the car, it does not do anything.
The car is a 1991 Buick Park Avenue, would like info on how to repair this or would I have to replace the stereo.
