Hello, looking to upgrade from an xbox one s to be able to successfully run CoD.
I would like to begin by saying my budget is around 1000$, and I have little idea what I am doing. My friend's vague advice "go get a pc" is less than helpful and from I have just learned on this sub in the past couple days seems to be wrong (ie: they said get an i9-11900k over i7 of any quality) https://imgur.com/a/NRMnWoT
So for my CPU, I have also seen that the AMD models are "worthless in this market" (quoted from some user on here). So I assume the i7-13900k or something similar would be best value wise, but doesn't leave much room in my budget.
Next, GPU, which I was browsing the AMD market and heard good on the Radeon 6650XT or maybe something higher. In general it seems the AMD is better than the Nvidia value wise or the 3070/3080/3090 line, even those these seem to be the hot button graphics cards.
As far as motherboard goes, which would be compatible with these? What kind of power supply would be needed to support this? Anyone recommend buying a starter build from facebook marketplace and upgrading from there?
Again, sorry for the noobness- and if r/buildapcforme would be better suited, but thank you for any and all help, just trying to learn more about this hobby before I drop the money on parts.

This is what I ended up going with
How does that CPU compare to the equivalent in Intel? Similar to an i7-12900k ? Thanks!
Yeah that was kinda my line of thought: he even said an i7 couldn’t even run windows 10 and I was like ?

Anyways yeah, I figured this sub would be a more reliable source for looking for parts and stuff. What kind of deals should I look for on black friday
Ok yeah, I had this vague idea in my mind too when looking at these parts.
Would an allocation of intel CPU, AMD graphics card still be a good general idea to stick too rn with the current cost of items

Yeah, I’m a little worried, was the 5600 not a good deal at 119$? Should I have opted for something else? If I get the 5800X3D do I need a new mother board as well?
