So recently I updated my computer and when I booted it back on I saw a screen telling me that Bios recovery mode was detected. No key presses changed the display so I followed the instructions I was given. On a separate computer I downloaded a new asus.cap file that I was directed to by asus support and I used the renamer. I put this on a USB with the correct format and put it into the pc. No matter what I did the display never changed. So I contacted asus support and they told me to attempt a CMOS reset. So I removed my power cord and then my graphics card, then removed my battery. I pressed on the power button for about 40 seconds as they directed, and I waited over 5 minutes before I put the battery back in. I put everything back together and then I booted the pc. This time the monitor had no signal, I tried doing a reset again but no dice. I am desperate at this point, hoping it's not a hardware issue. I appreciate any and all help. Thank you.
