Build Help/Ready:
Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)
Yes, I've read the rules.
What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better. This build is something that my dad would use for programs like Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk, and Chief Architect. He's an architect so those are the programs that he would use. He also uses it for the occasional render which he normally leaves the computer to do overnight. So that's the main use for this computer.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings) No really for gaming except if I were to use it but I'm at college most of the time so that doesn't really matter.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)? Let's keep it around $2000 give or take a little.
In what country are you purchasing your parts?
The United States, would like to keep everything through Amazon because we have Prime but if there are better deals elsewhere we can use other places. There's also a Fry's store near me so I can buy from there too.
Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).
I have built a "rough draft" on PC Part picker over here
Provide any additional details you wish below.
My dad's previous computer was pretty loud so if this could be quiet that would be nice. The occasional fan turning on isn't really a bad idea. I also don't know if a high end gaming GPU is good for CAD but I'm open to ideas.
NOTE: You do not have to follow this format, but please be sure to answer these questions. Please do not ask to simply be given a build. You are welcome to delete this section.
