Build Help/Ready:

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes I have.

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

Gaming.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)

I am currently interested in the idea of having one monitor for 4K gaming and another 1440p 144Hz monitor for non-4K gaming. If I understand the current state of 4K gaming correctly, that would mean going with a GTX 1080.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

Currently ~$3000 all in (including monitors, peripherals, everything)

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

USA.

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.

So my current dilemma centers mainly around the monitors. Should I currently buy one 4K monitor and a 1440p 144Hz monitor, or should I wait for more 4K options? I was thinking about possibly only buying a single 1440p 144Hz monitor, and potentially going with the Dell S2716DG and then waiting to see what their 4K options are later.
