We have mice. Started noticing them about a month and a half ago. So far we have caught 3 and have been the one doing everything regarding the situation.
I'm fed up with the situation. I have found poop in the bed my daughter(11 months) and I sleep in, even on my pillow case. My husband's only contribution to this point has been killing two of the mice caught in glue traps. This means I have been the one cleaning, scrubbing, worrying, buying the traps, putting all the food in bins, etc.
Finally today, after the fourth incident of my finding mouse poop and pee in/on my daughter's toys, I said enough. My husband is helping to clean this time, he also finally sealed the hole I had asked about before.
I want to take my daughter to my mom's or my in law's house and stay there with her until more steps are taken in regards to the mice. My husband thinks that is unreasonable. It is important to note that I struggle with being codependent and trying to keep everyone happy by over extending myself.
So here's my question. Is my setting the boundary here and leaving for a week or two so that more extreme anti-mice measures can be taken unreasonable?
Editing to update- Daughter and I are now at my mom's house. Husband and I have been texting to decide the game plan moving forward.
