So at work, there is a specific group that works together that kind of gets on my nerves but I like them better than most of the fuckers so you know whatever. But these ladies. They followed my pregnancy like hawks. One of them had a habit of trying to touch my belly. Good God I almost slapped her hand one time. But that's not the point of this.
This is about how I finally got one of them to stop making comments about me pumping at work. First off, I'd like to say that my office is awesome in that they are cool with breastfeeding/pumping for moms. We have a "New Mothers Room" that has all you would need for pumping. A comfy chair, refrigerator, sink, microwave, you get the picture. It's on a different floor than most of where the actual business actually happens so it's secluded.
So this lady here, I joked with her one time about my breast milk. 1 fucking time. That's all it took to her making comments about it. I'm sure she thought they were funny but I fucking hated them. I also didn't know how to tell her out right to stop until finally the other day.
So I went over to their desk clump to ask one of the other one's a question and she wheeled her chair by me and said "Got milk?" and kinda started giggling. I just stared at her with probably the bitchiest face she had seen from me and said "Do you have to make a comment about it every time you see me?" My tone was icy. I was pissed. The air got tense. She stammered out "Well uh um well I guess not" and I kept staring at her in silence. It was that death stare. You know. the one that says "You better shut the fuck up before I slap a hoe".
Needless to say, it was an uncomfortable couple of seconds before she rolled away looking defeated as fuck. I got a call on my phone from her about an hour later apologizing for making the comments and she didn't realize they upset me. I just told her I accept her apology but don't make them again.
I'm a boss ass bitch.
