We got the results of my husband's biopsy today. The cells look like low grade under the microscope but further testing revealed it is a glioblastoma. "A wolf in sheep's clothing" as they called it. With chemo/radio they are hopeful they can keep it stable, possibly even make it shrink. His age (31) and the stable state is in our advantage. We want children so he will need to freeze sperm.
For those who have gone through pill chemo and radio:
What was your experience like?
Are the negative effects during the process permanent?
Any advise or insight to share? Positive stories are especially welcome at this stage.
I am so grateful to have access to this community. Thank you all for sharing your stories and little victories. I will be sure to share ours too. :)
