Here’s why Gameboys works: An analysis
Post Body

It’s unbelievable

So we start off with a streamer who has a somewhat obsessive fan. The fan says “If I can beat you in a match you’ll let me court you,” we later find out that said fan didn’t even like video games until he watched the streamer, so he eventually trained to the point where he was better than him in anticipation of such a chance.

Like who do you know would go to that much effort for anyone?

A lot of people rip on Gameboys for its cring fest, which truthfully it delivers a lot of like every episode. However it’s also so fucking adorable because it’s so unbelievable?

Like LDR’s have a big history of not working out, gay LDR’s don’t get me started. They usually end with wet tissues and a promise to call the next night which was sent 2 years ago

But Cairo and Gav make it so real, like it’s actually this easy attainable thing.

And their love is so puppy love but they feel it so deep and intensely that you have no choice but to root for them.

The actor, Elijah and Kokoy, really knocked it out of the park on this one, I mean really bang up job. The movie actually made me cry a bit at the end as well and I was so scared it would flop but it delivered so well.

That kiss at the end Chef’s kiss perfection, the build up was worth the climax

For anyone who tapped out of Gameboys I strongly urge you to reconsider a revisit because it’s literally top 5 bl for mat this point
