Boulder Canyon is undergoing construction. It is posted "no bikes". But folks insist on biking up there. But the one-lane sections are a real hazard.
When the flaggers are out, they won't enforce the law (not their job) but they will hold opposing traffic until you clear the lane. That means you'll be the a$$hole holding up 30-40 cars while you climb through that 1-2 miles of single-lane road at 5mph.
When the flaggers are not out, you'll be the a$$hole going the wrong way against the light when it changes and opposing traffic comes down the lane at you, because the lights are timed for motor vehicles.
Just. don't. do it. Use Sunshine instead, or cut across Poor Man Road to Fourmile if the canyon bike path is closed. Those ways are more fun anyway.
