I really feel we got snuffed with some of the abilities of characters lol.

I feel like we should've gotten a chance to see Isshin's Kurosaki's Bankai. We only got to see his shikai, which was pretty nice I'll say (I love elemental powered swords, wasn't expecting his to be fire). For instance, at that point in the chapter where Isshin and Ryuuken showed up using Sōken's medallion, it would've been nice to see Isshin's Bankai and Ryuuken's Volständig.

I felt Yachiru "Retsu" Unohana's Bankai was really dry. A blood sword? Really? I feel if it had carried more of an ability I would've been okay with just the shikai, but there was none of that. I will say though, seeing as her and Zaraki are "Kenpanchi", the strongest of Shinigami, I guess it was okay to make them seem like they would always have SOME sort of power cap since the series didn't revolve around them.

Hell, we saw all of the Vizards damn bankai's and shikai's before we saw some of the captains that had made their debut long before they did (except Shinji. He was on the first seen in the first chapter art of Bleach)

EDIT: CHRIST I DIDN'T KNOW I'D GET SO MUCH FLAK FOR MY TITLE BEING MISUSED. The word 'unexplained' is what I was looking for in the first place, but literally wouldn't come to me at the time (was also at work when I typed this post earlier).
