I keep seeing people have conversations on how it didn't make sense or the premise was stupid. There was even a whole thread on bisexual representation a few days ago that I didn't see anyone mention that there is also some racial context to the episode. Just thought I'd mention it's pretty clear they were exploring feelings of homosexuality in the black community and how being on the down low effects the men and families involved, which for those of you who didn't know being on the down low is when black men sleep together but otherwise have straight presenting lives. I thought it was a cool twist that it ended up being more about a fluid technological-based gender identity.
Sorry this is kinda meandered, but the philosopher Sizek also has some cool theories on identity and how that works with the digital avatars we create.
