stay at white or go to blue belt?

Post Body

I(17M) have competed 3 times at white belt, and the time is coming to move to blue. I have not achieved any gold medals at white belt though, and I kind of feel disappointed at myself because of this.

I would please like to hear some opinions, what would you do in my place? should I ask my coach for more time at white belt and have another opportunity to earn gold, or should I embrace the challenge and accept my blue belt?

and would I be right to assume that competing at white belt would be more advantageous to me, as competing in blue belt is substantially more difficult than competing at white?

any opinions are welcome

Thanks in advance
