hot take: the Lowe Post is the type of podcasting that is a bubble bursting
Post Body

i think there's a mismatch between supply and demand for sports content (podcasts, written articles) that is in depth coverage of leagues. i gave up on the lowe post since there are dozens of other basketball podcasts to listen to. and after having access to thousands of hours of NBA podcast content for 15 years, i burned out (also my life is much busier at 40 than 25) to a large extent.

i also think the archetype of the sports fan that watches hours of games a week and follows every player and team in a league for years and years (think Joe House) will only get smaller as the years ago by.

any one else agree, or am i out on waiters island alone here?
