how do I go about putting wider rims/tires on my bike?
Post Body

So I have a 2020 trek FX disc 2 and it has skinny little hybrid wheels, at the time I bought it it rode great for me but unfortunately now I'm a little heavier and I'm interested in swapping out my rims/tires to a wider bigger set for comfort and also so i don't destroy my fucking rims going over bumps.

What's the process like? Do I just find some rims and tires I like and slap them on?, How do I figure out the maximum size I can move up to?, What problems am I likely to run into?.
