I did some damage to my bike and body today :-(.
Is there any cheap rear derailleur hanger alignment tool? Park Tool's is like $80, and for that I'd just take it to my LBS and have them do it for me. My (steel) frame has an integrated hanger (can't just replace it) and it's bent slightly inwards (derailleur cage interacts with the spokes when in the big ring). Bending it back should be ok, I think. Looking for a 2nd opinion.
Tangent, but while I'm here: if my Shimano brifter's got a crack all the way through the body (the plastic part underneath the rubber hood your hands rest on), it's expensive toast, right? There are two halves conjoined by cable(s), and I can move them independently. :-/
Edit: I'll add a 3rd question that I noticed after posting the first two. I managed to bend at least one of the arms of my (steel) fork. (They're no longer in alignment, viewed from the side.) What's the best way to straighten that out?
