Hello, all. There’s something I don’t understand about bike fitting, and I hope you will help me get it. If the elbows should not be locked, then what should be supporting the weight of the whole front half of the rider ( /- 40%)? Only the core muscles? If yes, then I either have a very weak core, which I admit is very possible, or there’s something I’m really missing. Alternatively, the arm muscles, especially the biceps, will be the support, but it’s really unsustainable in a long ride. So basically, I can’t keep my elbows bent for longer than 10 minutes, and it really puts a strain, either on my core to the extent that my pedaling efficiency really drops, or on my arms, which is also very difficult. I hope I’m making sense explaining my problem, and I thank you for your input.
