I'm taking care of my friend's Bichon Frise while she's out of town, and although the dog is very sweet and great to have around, he's filthy. His white fur looks beige. My friend has not stayed on top of the grooming. I plan to take him to a groomer. I want him to be clean, but I don't want them to treat him like a topiary and make him look all froufrou. What should I be asking for when I go to the groomer? I put this question to my friend, but it turns out she's never taken him to a groomer. . . . Thank you for any information or advice!
