I know some people are not big fans of it (and not only because of Revolution 9, but in general) , but I love how unorthodox it is.
Kicks off with a subdued version of Revolution, with a bluesy kick that I enjoy (has more of a failed Revolution kind of sentiment), continues with a baroque McCartney composition with a Django style Lennon guitar lead, a killer Harrison soul track with horns to boost, a good Lennon song with an eerie McCartney ending, the macabre Revolution 9, which, like it or not, gives a special feeling to the album, and then the listener is calmed down from the chaos with the cinematic "Good Night".
It's a mess, and I love it.
Maybe their best side
