Trout redemption update.

Little background. I pulled this redemption on 2023 series 1 release day. After seeing sticker auto after sticker auto of Trout being pulled and redemptions fulfilled, from sets released after series 1, I finally reached out to Topps. Some of y’all may have seen that they offered a 2021 Topps Chrome Black Trout on card auto as a sub. Of course I took it and it arrived yesterday. However….. there looks to be major surface damage on the right side of the card (see last picture). How would y’all handle that? Crack the seal and investigate? Follow-up on my email chain with topps?
