Why would this one of my favorite Archives Signatures pulls?
Post Body

In November 2019, The Athletic published an article which exposed the Houston Astros stealing scandal. The article detailed multiple ways in which the Astros had been cheating the game, and this was learned thanks to a first-hand account of what had taken place. Later it became known that pitcher Mike Fiers is the man who revealed the scandals inner workings to Rosenthal and The Athletic. This card is from 2019 Archives (year the scandal broke), and is a buyback from 2015 featuring Fiers as an Astro, well after his time as an Astro had ended. This man deserves props for being willing to expose the scandal, and i respect the heck out of him for it. When i originally pulled this card, I was disappointed. But after realizing what I had, ive grown thankful to have this card. It serves as a reminder of honesty and integrity. Is it weird that this makes it a favorite of mine in the PC?
