This may be a strange request, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I'm visiting Bari for a few days, but my bus gets into town tonight in the wee hours of the morning and I wasn't able to book accomadation for tonight within my budget that has late, late check-in (it was only available for me starting tomorrow). My question is this: are there any public spaces I would be able to safely/legally wait at until morning (preferably catch some shut-eye as well, as I have 13 travel hours ahead of me today). Thanks a ton!

Update: Ended up just walking around the city to get my bearings for most of the night. Beautiful sunrise, a nice espresso at 6:00. Still haven't slept but oh well. I'm enjoying the city but I feel bad trying to order at places because I don't speak any Italian at all haha
