Hi there. I’m renovating an apartment and putting down new floorboards. I’m planning to run speaker cable from my amp down through the joinery (bookshelf) and under the floorboards to the speakers. Totals length about 4m. The floorboards will have sound insulating underlay and a channel will be cut in this to run the cable. It’s an apartment and floor is a concrete slab.
Wondering if this will have any noticeable impact on signal and sound? I have a mid range system (Quad electronics and Neat speakers), not a 200k system so not after absolute 100% perfection.
Thanks!
