Do low frequency bass waves travel through computer monitors?

Post Body

I'm just curious about this, since I couldn't find any information online.

Basically I have a dual monitor setup with 8 inch studio monitors on the side of them, and I was curious what frequencies would reflect/absorb from them.

For example, there is no acoustic treatment directly behind the computer monitors, but there are bass traps directly behind the ports of the studio monitors, but I was wondering if they would bounce between the wall/computer monitors.
